What made you build a car for time attack?

As one of the purist forms of Auto Racing, Time Attack Racecars allow us to showcase our fabrication and design abilities! Many original ideas are used in our Civic, and I’m happy to say they’re working very well! We’re constantly pushing the boundaries, and I’m very fortunate to have many partners on our side!

What series do you run the car in?

We currently compete in Global Time Attack, GridLife Time Attack, and next year we’ll be going to Australia for WTAC!

Do you drive it yourself, if not, who drives it?

I’m the driver in our program. While not a full time driver, I’ve been able to pull out quite a few wins nonetheless ! 😉

When was the build started and when did it finish?

We were very ambitious in building the car – the concept started in Nov 2014 (right after we won the GTA Limited Championship in our RSX), started cage fabrication in Jan 2015 and was out on track Racing (and winning) in May 2015!! Chassis, Motor Build, IC, Wiring, Suspension, Dyno, and Livery were all completed in three months!

What are you currently working on to improve the car?

Time Attack is a constant development program, as there’s always room for improvement, that being said we’re working closely with Vibrant Performance and our other partners to improve all aspects! Borg Warner has delivered an aluminum core lightweight turbo, Fortune Auto is developing our suspension, APR stepped us up to a Multi-Element Wing.

What are some future upgrades?

Future upgrades include a Quaife Sequential transmission (which we were expecting to be in the car already, but unfortunately it’s been delayed a few times). More Composite, and of course aero will be developed throughout the season.
